چکیده

The mixed sensitivity minimization problem is revisited for a class of single-input-single-output unstable infinite dimensional plants with low order weights. It is shown that H1 controllers can be computed from the singularity conditions of a parameterized matrix whose dimension is the same as the order of the sensitivity weight. The result is applied to the design of H1 controllers with integral action. Connections with the so-called Hamiltonian approach are also established. Copyright © 2012 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.

Title Stable H ∞ Controller Design for Infinite - Dimensional Systemsvia Interpolation

H∞ control is well appreciated as a powerful design methodology against system uncertainty. It has been playing an important role in the field of robust control. For infinite-dimensional systems such as time-delay systems, H∞ control problems have been under extensive study since the mid-1980s. On the other hand, stable controller design known as strong stabilization is also an important issue ...

The Role of C∗-algebras in Infinite Dimensional Numerical Linear Algebra

This paper deals with mathematical issues relating to the computation of spectra of self adjoint operators on Hilbert spaces. We describe a general method for approximating the spectrum of an operator A using the eigenvalues of large finite dimensional truncations of A. The results of several papers are summarized which imply that the method is effective in most cases of interest. Special atten...

On the Computation of Suboptimal H 1 Controllers for Unstable Innnite Dimensional Systems

In this paper we show how to compute suboptimal H 1 controllers, for a class of (possibly) unstable and (possibly) innnite dimensional plants, from a nite set of linear equations. A solution to the H 1 suboptimal control problem for innnite dimensional stable plants was obtained in 6]. Also, in 13] and 14] the H 1 optimal control problem was solved for unstable distributed plants. Our solution ...

Nonexpansive mappings on complex C*-algebras and their fixed points

A normed space $mathfrak{X}$ is said to have the fixed point property, if for each nonexpansive mapping $T : E longrightarrow E $ on a nonempty bounded closed convex subset $ E $ of $ mathfrak{X} $ has a fixed point. In this paper, we first show that if $ X $ is a locally compact Hausdorff space then the following are equivalent: (i) $X$ is infinite set, (ii) $C_0(X)$ is infinite dimensional, (...

An introduction to internal stabilization of infinite-dimensional linear systems

In these notes, we give a short introduction to the fractional representation approach to analysis and synthesis problems [12], [14], [17], [28], [29], [50], [71], [77], [78]. In particular, using algebraic analysis (commutative algebra, module theory, homological algebra, Banach algebras), we shall give necessary and sufficient conditions for a plant to be internally stabilizable or to admit (...
